Friday Already?!

December 28, 2007 / by knittingjunkie

Man, with the Christmas Holidays being mid week I am all messed up here! Good Grief, Friday already!

Thursday Night was soooo much fun, as usual! Plans are already underway for next week too. LOL

I am looking forward to all of this holiday stuff to be over. My kidos want to go to a New Years Eve party at church. It is always lots of fun, but mom is getting old and tired! HA! I wanna go home and go to bed! (which is exactly what I'll probably do) I'll just have them call me when its over and I'll pick them up.

I had some very sweet customers come into the shop today. They were asking about using dp's and circulars, then about the cashmere and using circulars as straights. Well, I got to picking up a project here and there to show them what they wanted to know. After a while the one lady said, "How many projects do you have? In 30 minutes you have shown us 5 different projects on needles!" LOL I shook my head, I'm not sure I want to know either! Neat ladies though!

ravelry has been consuming a lot of time lately, oh wicked ravelry, I love you and despise you. I get on their to read the posts or check out a pattern and HOURS later, where am I? On ravelry...what did we do before ravelry?! LOL

Well, I am about to close up for the night. We don't have any classes scheduled for tomorrow. So, it might be a long slow day for me. We'll see.

later!

I made a point to get at least 4 different socks on needles. It seems that when I get to knit in I am at the wrong place on the socks to knit mindlessly. So I am hoping that with a bunch of projects going I will be in the right place with at least one of them. I almost know it is not going to work but had to try it anyway.[LOL]
